We continue our series called “New Year, New Outlook.” Our next message is “The Spirit Descends” and is on the Sunday celebrating the Baptism of the Lord. In it, we explore the meaning of baptism and the Holy Spirit in our lives. A new year calls for reflection on a new outlook.
Our scripture readings come from Acts 8:14-17; Luke 3:15-17,21-22.
Our Christmas series is Gifts of Christmas. Each week we look at a different gift we can give and receive. The message for today is “The Spirit” and is a look at how the Holy Spirit is a gift. What power do our words have? Why does the truth matter? How can we lift others up? What is the gift that we can give? Christ is the gift of Christmas that keeps on giving.
Our scripture reading for today comes from Mark 1:4-11.
“So It Begins” is the final message in The Story Goes On. We jump forward from an infant Jesus to a grown man. How does Christ begin his ministry? What can it teach us about our own ministry? As long as God is still telling it, the story will go on.

As we near the end of the Easter season, we near the end of Discover Hope. Today’s message is “Set Free” and in it looks at the idea of finding freedom. Revelation gives us an example of perfect freedom, while Acts gives us an example of escaping our bonds. But what responsibility comes with freedom? How do we share our freedom? How do we use it? Join us as we rediscover hope this Easter season!

Our series, Discover Hope, continues with “By Flowing Waters” and looks at water and faith. Do we have faith like a rock or like water? How does water play into our faith story? Are we willing to go where God takes us? Join us as we rediscover hope this Easter season!
Our scripture readings come from Acts 16:9-15 and Revelation 21:10, 22-22:5.
Today’s message is the last in our Christmas Spirit series and covers the “Spirit of Acceptance.” What can we learn from the acceptance of the Holy Spirit? What about the acceptance of the early disciples? How can we practice God’s radical love? Keep the Spirit of Christmas with you all through the year.

Pentecost draws us to the end of our series, Led by the Spirit. The last message is “Feel the Fire” and explores our relationship with the Holy Spirit . What does it mean to be baptized in the Holy Spirit? Do wet hesitate to act on the Spirit? Live a life led by the Spirit!

Our Lenten series is Act with Christ, and our first message in this series is “Get to the Wilderness.” Today we hear The familiar story of Christ’s baptism and temptation in the wilderness. But that was Jesus doing in the wilderness? How do we prepare ourselves for ministry? Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ.

Today we explore a familiar story in “Gift of the Spirit.” Do we understand that the Spirit is a gift for you and me? How do you experience the Holy Spirit? Do you listen for it? These are the Gifts of the Season.
