We finish our series called “Methodist Roots.” Each week we will look at an aspect of United Methodism. Today’s message is “The Individual in the Community.” Today we will explore the way that we operate as individuals within multiple communities.

We begin a new series called “With the Holy Spirit.” In it, we will spend 4 weeks looking at the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our first message is called “Baptized in the Spirit.” Today we reflect on the baptism of Jesus by John and the role of the Holy Spirit.

Our scripture readings come from Genesis 1:1-5; Acts 19:1-7; and Mark 1:4-11.
