This series is called “Word in Song.” Each week we will look at a song from pop-culture that we can link to scripture. Our message today is “If Everyone Cared,” a song by Nickelback. Today’s message is all about how different the world would be if it was full of compassion and caring. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message.

We continue our series called “Means of Grace.” Over four weeks we will look at different ways we respond to grace as individuals and a community. Today’s message is “Compassion.” Today we explore our personal acts of mercy to help others as a response to grace.

Our new series is Jesus Is. Each week we look at a different way that we look at Jesus. The message for today is “Jesus is the Good Shepherd” and is a look at what it means for Christ to be our Shepherd. Why should we think of Jesus as a shepherd? Does a shepherd do more than just move sheep around? How do we interpret the Good Shepherd? Does this role change our thinking of Jesus? Jesus is many things for all of us.
Our scripture reading for today comes from John 10:1-16.
Lessons from Job continues with “You Aren’t Helping” as we dive deeper into the book. Job now argues with his friends. Are they helping? Or are they hurting? What should they be doing? How do we handle a crisis? Let us face the lessons of Job together!
Our scripture reading comes from Job 11:1-12, 12:1-5, 15:1-9, 16:1-6.
Today marks the beginning of our third installment of The Word in Song with “Hungry Heart.” What does your heart long for? What do you desire? It it good? Is it bad? Do we consider our intentions when we act? The intentions of others? What does God want? Find inspiration anywhere and everywhere, and hear the Word in song!
