We finish our two part Easter series “The Tomb.” This series spans from Palm/Passion Sunday to Easter. This message is “He is Risen” and is a message for Easter Sunday. Today we consider the impact that the resurrection has in our lives and how we let the joy live within us. We consider the tomb of Christ and all that it represents in our lives.
Our scripture readings come from Acts 10:34-43; Colossians 3:1-4; Matthew 28:1-10.
This series is called “We Remember.” Each week we will look at another important topic and how we remember. Our message today is “Remember Me” and is reflection based on the words spoken to Jesus on the cross. We think about the way we ask to be remembered. We remember to walk with faith and love when we remember to follow Christ.
Our scripture readings come from Jeremiah 23:1-6; Colossians 1:11-20; and Luke 23:33-43.
We have a two part series called “Duality.” We will look at the duality of Tragedy and Triumph between Palm Sunday and Easter. Our message today is “Tragedy.” We reflect on the way that tragedy can overshadow all joy because of fear and sorrow. When we look between the good and the bad, the celebration and the sorrow, there we will find Christ.
Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 50:4-9a; Philippians 2:5-11; and Luke 23:33-56a.
We have a special service today for Good Friday. Come and join us as we hear the Passion story form the Gospel of John. We have the full service including music. We see the light extinguished leaving us in darkness. However, we still carry hope for resurrection, even in darkness.
We continue our Lenten series called “Depths of Love.” In it, we will explore the depths of God’s love in our Lenten journey to the cross. Our message for the last Sunday in Lent is called “Blessed is the One.” Today we think about our joy and our sorrow as we journey with Christ and explore the depths of love in this Palm/Passion Sunday message.
Our scripture readings come from Mark 11:1-11; Isaiah 50:4-9a; Philippians 2:5-11; and Mark 15:1-39.
