We continue our current series called “The Spirit Moves.” In it, we will be looking at the Holy Spirit . Our next message is “Moved with Gifts.” Today we look at gifts of the Holy Spirit and the way we encourage each other as family.
Our scripture readings come from 1 Corinthians 12:4-13 and Acts 19:1-7.
For Father’s Day, our message is “The Prodigal Father.” We may know that story of the Prodigal Son, but how often do we really think about the father in the parable? What examples does he give us of being a good father? About being a good person? What can we learn about the example we set for others? We explore this and more.
Today’s reading is from Luke 15:11-32 CEB.

We begin a three week series, Faithful Fathers, with “Abraham: Father of Nations.” Abraham gives us an example of faith. But what about Abraham as a father? What do we learn from him? What do we learn about God? Let us rejoice in our shared faith!
Our scripture readings come from Genesis 17:1-7 and Hebrews 11:8-12.
The last message in this run of The Word in Song is “My Back Pages”, inspired by the time by Bob Dylan. This Father’s Day message reflects on what it means to be like a child. Do we still ask questions like a child? Be humble like a child? Find inspiration anywhere and everywhere, and hear the Word in song!
