We finish our Advent and Christmas series called “Come, Let Us Adore Him.” Throughout we have looked at how we celebrate the birth of Christ. Today’s message is “Ahead.” This Sunday we explore the idea of looking ahead with the coming of the Lord. So come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.
Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 60:1-6; Ephesians 3:1-12; and Matthew 2:1-12.
The next Day by Day entry is “Faith and the Future” on this 7th Sunday of Easter. We explore how faith guides is in times of uncertainty. What do we really know about the future? What do we need to know? What do we need faith for?

We start our Advent series today. “Child of Promise” is the first sermon in the Advent Children series. How do we see God’s promise in Jeremiah? Is it about the birth of the Messiah? Jesus in our lives today? Christ yet to come? Or is it all those things? We experience the advent of Christ as a child of God.
Our scripture reading comes from Jeremiah 33:14-16.
As we begin our Advent Experience series, we begin with seeing in “See: The Son of Man.” As we prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth, are we ready now for the Son of Man to come? If he came today, could we ever really be ready? Explore Christ in an Advent experience!

This week in Seeking God we look at how we “Serve God.” Joshua makes a covenant with the people of Israel, but he has some important questions first. Do we fully understand our responsibility? Do we fully understand what it is to serve God? When we seek God, we find hope.
Our scripture reading comes from Joshua 24:1-3a, 14-25.
“Trust God” is our first message in the Seeking God series. On this All Saints Sunday we look at God’s promise to his children. What can we say about those who have completed their journey and our own future? When we seek God, we find hope.
Our scripture reading comes from Revelation 7:9-17.
As we continue in Turning to God, we come to “God’s Things.” Jesus talks about giving back to the emperor what belongs to the emperor. But what belongs to God? Do we give God the credit he deserves? And do we get too caught up in our earthly things? When we turn from earthly desires, we find ourselves turning to God.
