We continue a series called “Transformed.” Each week we take a look at another Biblical figure that had their life transformed. Today’s message is “Jacob.” This Sunday we explore the Jacob and the transformation he finds through wrestling with men and with God. The love of Christ leads us all to be transformed.
Our scripture readings come from Genesis 25:21-34; Genesis 32:22-32; and Hosea 12:1-6.
Our latest series is The Gospels and the second message in our series is “Luke.” Each week we will explore a different Gospel account. This week we look at what sets Luke apart. What was Luke’s purpose in writing? His focus? Who was Luke? Do we know? See how the Gospels can be opened when you take each one and let the author speak to their own experience with Jesus Christ with their own voice standing alone.

The last message in Fathers of Faith is “Jacob: To Be a People.” What is the promise that comes with the change in Jacob’s name? Was Jacob chosen because he was flawless? Do we allow God to bring us together? To let us be a people? Let us rejoice in our shared faith!
