Our series is Jesus Is. Each week we look at a different way that we look at Jesus. The message for today is “Jesus is Lord” and is a look at both the title and the meaning of calling Jesus Lord. Why do we call Jesus our Lord? Is that like a king or a boss? What kind of leader is Jesus? Does this role change our thinking of Jesus? Jesus is many things for all of us.

Our scripture readings for today come from Philippians 2:5-11; Romans 10:5-13.

The fourth message in our Women in Jesus’ Genealogy series is focused on “Bathsheba.” We look at Bathsheba being instrumental to place Solomon on the throne as king. So why would she be included in Matthew? What do we learn about her strength? Her perseverance? How does her story relate to the ministry of Christ? Join us as we explore their faith journey and ours.

Our scripture reading comes from 1 Kings 1:11-21, 28-31.
