We continue our series called “Matriarchs of Christ.” Each week we look at a different woman that is listed in the genealogy of Jesus from Matthew’s Gospel. Our message today is “Ruth.” We read today from Ruth for the story of a woman that shows her loyalty and faithfulness. We hear about faith from unexpected places in unexpected ways.

We start our series called “Matriarchs of Christ.” Each week we look at a different woman that is listed in the genealogy of Jesus from Matthew’s Gospel. Our message today is “Tamar.” We reach back today into Genesis for the story of a woman that was wronged and teaches us about rushing to judgement. We hear about faith from unexpected places in unexpected ways.

We continue our series called “Stories of Faith.” Each week we turn to a different gospel account of faith. Our message today is “Power of Faith.” Today we look at Matthew’s Gospel and the power our faith can have. Let us continue to grow and continue to share our stories of faith.
Our scripture readings come from Psalm 40:5-10; Hebrews 12:1-2; and Matthew 9:1-7, 18-31.
Our latest series is The Gospels and the second message in our series is “Matthew.” Each week we will explore a different Gospel account. This week we look at what sets Matthew apart. What was Matthew’s purpose in writing? His focus? Who was Matthew? Do we know? See how the Gospels can be opened when you take each one and let the author speak to their own experience with Jesus Christ with their own voice standing alone.
