We continue our series called “Faith & Wisdom.” In it, we will be reading from Proverbs as we explore the connection between faith & wisdom. Our next message is “To Believe.” Today we look at how we put our faith into action and the wisdom needed to understand the importance of living what we believe.
Our scripture readings come from Proverbs 9:7-12; James 2:8-17; and Matthew 9:18-31.
We finish our series called “Interpretation.” The series looks at the way that we interpret and reinterpret Scripture. Our final message is “Interpreting.” We take a look at how we can interpret the Bible through a lens of love.
Our scripture readings come from Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Leviticus 19:17-18; Romans 13:8-10; Matthew 22:34-40.

Next week we will look at Luke 16:1-13 and will explore questions about God and wealth.
We continue our series called “Parables of Jesus” and each week delivers a new parable to explore. Our next message looks at a well known parable about a good Samaritan. “Who Is My Neighbor?” looks at who we should love and the way the we live out our love. What is the story God has placed in your heart?
Our scripture reading comes from Luke 10:25-37 .
Next week we look at Luke 16:1-13. The sermon explores the issue of God and wealth.
Our series is Means of Grace. In it, we will be exploring spiritual practices that help us grow in discipleship. The next to last of these is “The Poor and Hungry” and looks at how our charity and generosity is an act of faith. Why should we help others? How do we help those in need? How do we act out our faith to ensure it isn’t empty? Can we make it a regular part of our lives? As we explore how we interact with God, we grow in faith and love.
Our scripture reading for today comes from Isaiah 25:1-5, James 2:14-17, Matthew 25:31-46.
The second message in Those in Need is “The Poor.” What does the Bible have to say about the poor? How should we give? Do we always live up to expectations? How can we change our views? Let us serve God by helping those in need.
The scripture readings come from Leviticus 25:35-43, 1 John 3:16-24, and Luke 3:7-14.
Immigrants hold a special place in scripture. “The Immigrant” is the first message in Those in Need. How does the Old Testament speak about immigrants? The New Testament? What specifically do we learn about Christ in Matthew that connects us to immigrants? Let us serve God by helping those in need.
Our scripture readings come from Deuteronomy 10:12-22, Ephesians 2:11-22, and Matthew 2:13-15.
Today marks the final of the 7 Deadly Sins as we end with “Sloth.” Is sloth really just being lazy? Or is there something more to it? What happens when we don’t go out and do what we are supposed to do? And do we get slothful by being too busy? Do our words match our actions? We explore this and more as we explore the 7 deadly sins.
