Today we have a message for Passion/Palm Sunday. We have been journeying to the cross during Lent, and today we arrive. The message for today is “Journey to the Cross” and is a reflection on Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem and the Passion. We stand at the foot of the cross and reflect on what sacrifices have been made for us.

Our scripture readings for today come from Mark 11:1-11; Mark 14:32-65; Mark 15:1-47.

Our final Ready for Lent sermon is “Ready for Now” for this Palm/Passion Sunday. Between the triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the tragic death on the cross, the day holds a lot of mixed feelings. How can we be ready for them? How can we be ready for the many ups and downs of life? How can we be ready for now?

Our scripture readings come from Matthew 21:1-11 and Matthew 27:11-54.

As we begin our Easter series, Mystery of Faith, we start with “Christ Has Died.” Palm Sunday can sometimes push the crucifixion to the side. What is the mystery of faith in the death of Jesus? What can we learn from the mix of joy, sorrow, and hope? Come join the Easter exploration of faith!

Our scripture reading comes from Luke 23:1-49.

In this last Sunday of Lent, we “Celebrate and Grieve.” We find great joy contrasted with deep sorrow today. How do these opposites relate to each other? These actions are central to Christianity. Let us prepare our hearts to Act with Christ.

Our scripture readings come from Mark 11:1-11 and Mark 15:1-39.
