Our Advent series is Hope is Born. Each week we look at a different aspect of how we prepare ourselves for hope. The message for today is “Rejoicing” and is a look what it means to rejoice in our hope. What do we have to rejoice over? In a year full of turmoil what can do we have to celebrate? What is stopping us from being happy for things to come? Where is our hope? We prepare our hearts to receive the hope that was born on Christmas Day.

Our scripture readings for today come from Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24; John 1:6-8, 19-28.
