This week we return to the “Word in Song.” This series is one that I come back to periodically and conect a song to Scripture. This week our message is “On the Turning Away” and comes from the song of the same name by Pink Floyd. We must face our own responsiblity as we look at not turning away from the problems of the world, but always turning to God to do good in this world. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message.

Our current series is Take Care. Each week’s message will look at an aspect of self-care. The message for today is “Take Responsibility” and is a reflection on needing to take a break. How should we handle facing our mistakes? Why do we need to be able to address the past? It is important for us to take care of ourselves in following Christ.
Our scripture reading for today comes from Acts 22:3-21.
