We continue our series called “Exception.” The series looks at the way that we interpret and reinterpret Scripture. Our next message is “Exception.” We take a look at the importance of having exceptions to rules and the love that Christ shows.
Our scripture readings come from 1 Samuel 21:1-6; Colossians 2:13-17; Matthew 12:1-8.
This week’s message is “To Do Good” and it looks at when and how we do good. What was wrong with healing on the sabbath? Was it a matter of legalism? Was it upsetting tradition? When should we do good? What does God really expect from us?
Our scripture readings for today come from Micah 6:1-8 and Luke 6:-1-11.
