This week we continue our series called “Our Vision” and is based on the new vision statement of the United Methodist Church. We continue with “Serve Joyfully” and we explore the way that we are called to serve God. That we should emulate the service of Christ as we serve others. We love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as we share the Gospel message.
Our scripture readings come from Psalm 100; 1 Peter 4:8-11; and John 13:12-17.
We continue our series called “Season of Plenty.” Over five weeks we look at the ways that we share the plenty that God has provided. Today’s message is “Sharing.” Today we explore how we overcome selfishness to invite others to share in a life with Christ.
Our scripture readings come from Acts 4:32-37; Philippians 2:1-4; and Matthew 6:19-24.
We continue our Lenten series called “Depths of Love.” In it, we will explore the depths of God’s love in our Lenten journey to the cross. Our next message is called “Whoever Serves.” Today we think about what it really means to follow Christ in a path of learning to give up of self.
Our scripture readings come from Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 5:5-10; and John 12:20-33.
We continue our series called “Pondering Questions.” The series is based on questions that you send in! Our next message is “To Be Called” In it, we look at a question about how we are called and if there’s specific signs.
The last message of Those in Need is about “The Abandoned.” All those people that have nobody left to look out for them get special attention from God. How are we called to respond? Do we always help how we should? What examples are we give on how to care? Let us serve God by helping those in need.
This week in Seeking God we look at how we “Serve God.” Joshua makes a covenant with the people of Israel, but he has some important questions first. Do we fully understand our responsibility? Do we fully understand what it is to serve God? When we seek God, we find hope.
