This week we return to the “Word in Song.” This series is one that I come back to periodically and conect a song to Scripture. This week our message is “Shine” and comes from the song of the same name by Collective Soul. We take a look at the light of Christ shining in our lives as we reflect on the Transfiguration. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message.

We finish our series called “Transformed.” Each week we took a look at another Biblical figure that had their life transformed. Today’s message is “Jesus.” This Sunday we explore Jesus and the transformation we see in the Transfiguration. The love of Christ leads us all to be transformed.

We continue our series called “Relational God.” The series is based on the Transfiguration. Each week will explore another aspect of God with a reading from John. Our last message is “God of Transformation.” Today we look at the Transfiguration and God revealed in Jesus Christ.
