We finish our series called “Reflections.” In it, we will be reflecting on how we live out our faith. Our final message is called “Foundation of Trust.” We reflect on the foundation of trust that we have going into the Advent season.
Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 26:1-8 and Luke 6:37-498.
We finish our Lenten series called “Lenten Journey.” In it, we will be traveling with Christ as part of our Lenten reflection. Our final message is “Visiting Friends.” Today we look at Christ among friends and what we learn about trusting the Lord.
We continue our series called “Interpretation.” The series looks at the way that we interpret and reinterpret Scripture. Our next message is “Your Word.” We take a look at the ways that our words are used to either weaken or strengthen trust.
We continue our series called “Parables of Jesus” and each week delivers a new parable to explore. Our next message looks at a parable about asking for help. “Try Asking” explores prayer and the way that we work together to help each other. What is the story God has placed in your heart?
Our series is Simple Thoughts. In it, we will be exploring a few of the simple thoughts I have had over these last few months. The fourth and last of these is “A Little Trust” and looks at what faith means. Is our faith just something that sits there? What does patience have to do with trust? What does it really mean to trust God and in God? These are some simple thoughts in complex times.
Our Easter series is Day by Day and for this third Sunday of Easter, our message is “New Information.” How is new information presented to us? When it is, do we believe it? Why? Why not? How do we present new information to others? Do we accept God giving us new information? Day by day, we let God lead us.
