This week we return to our “Word in Song” series. The message is “Kyrie” and is based on the song of the same name by Mr.Mister. Today we consider the grace of God and the prayer that we carry with us all our lives. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives.
Our scripture readings come from Exodus 33:12-23; James 2:8-13; Mark 10:46-52.
This week we return to the “Word in Song.” This series is one that I come back to periodically and conect a song to Scripture. This week our message is “On the Turning Away” and comes from the song of the same name by Pink Floyd. We must face our own responsiblity as we look at not turning away from the problems of the world, but always turning to God to do good in this world. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message.
Our scripture readings come from Ezekiel 18:21-32; 1 John 3:13-18; Matthew 18:1-9.
