Time for an update and we have some news!
We have moved into Phase 4 again in Illinois’ plan to battle the Coronavirus. As such, we are able to resume in person worship again this next Sunday, January 31st. If you would like to continue to receive the weekly service by mail, please let me know. As such, I will give a quick reminder of our safety precautions at this time.
When we gather in person, we need to be masked and have 6ft distance between households. Masks are required. We will not be resuming singing at this point. If you feel that you are at high risk, you are encouraged to continue to worship online via our weekly video, audio, or printout. I thank you all for your tremendous patience at this time. I will be continuing to post online video and the full service at this time.
I am also strongly suggesting that if you are able to get the vaccine, that you do so. The end of this pandemic is in sight, but we must remain strong and remain vigilant. Things could get worse again before it is over, so we need to do all we can to do no harm as we do good for the sake of our love for God.
If there are any questions, feel free to contact me. If I don’t pick up, leave a message. I’m likely trying to handle school at home or just the everyday busy life of a single parent.
I will also be in contact with yearly paperwork that is going to need to be done. This includes a financial audit that hopefully has been sent to the responsible parties by the district. I will need a copy of that material.
