Always Something There To Remind Me

The Word in Song II
Always Something There To Remind Me

Continuing in The Word in Song, today’s message is “Always Something There To Remind Me.” The music interpretation was from the song of the same title by Naked Eyes. We hear about the Israelites making a monument to remember crossing the Jordan. What is it in our lives that reminds us of God? Is it that inspiration always obvious? What might we be overlooking? Find inspiration anywhere and everywhere, and hear the Word in song!

Our scripture reading comes from Joshua 4:1-7.

The musical inspiration comes from “Always Something There To Remind Me” written by Hal David & Burt Bacharach. Though my inspiration was from the version by Naked Eyes, the Dione Warwick version is also superb.
